The British Society for the Philosophy of Religion (Registered charity 1027548)

NEW! Public Lecture Grants

The British Society for the Philosophy of Religion is offering up to £200 to Departments in the UK for the purpose of hosting a public lecture in the Philosophy of Religion in 2012. Proposals should include the name of the lecturer, the title of the lecture, likely date of lecture, an approximate breakdown of estimated costs (travel, accommodation and contribution towards meals for lecturer and host), and a brief description of how the event will be promoted and the likely uptake by those outside the Department. In keeping with the charitable status of the Society, submissions from smaller universities in which Philosophy of Religion has a relatively low profile would be particularly welcome and are likely to be prioritised. Applications should be sent by e-mail to the Secretary, Dr. Andrew Moore (andrew.moore@theology.ox.ac.uk) no later than 29th April, 2012.
